Osandros Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Good day! We have a CNC 840D (NCU 573.4), which includes 6 axes and controls the saw machine. It has 2 cutter drives. The cutter drives are rather simple and rotates constantly at the same speed. Last time we faced with incremental encoder problem, it began to fail, as the external environment is quite aggressive. The encoder is mounted on the motor shaft and connected directly to the drive. Since the drive is not so important, we decided to disable this encoder with the MD30240 parameter, but after that the drive did not start and there were no errors. Most likely, something else needs to be changed ... Maybe someone has ideas?

Please confirm the parameters are activated i.e. MD 30200, MD30240 are set to 0. Please disconnect spindle motor encoder cable & check what alarm is displayed on OP? BTW, does your spindle has orientation or does both spindles run on same drive or has individual drives?

We do not see/have the parameter MD30200. PISCEAN 2010 I presume this spindle motor is controlled/oeprated by 611D drive. Please confirm the parameters are activated i.e. MD 30200, MD30240 are set to 0. Please disconnect spindle motor encoder cable & check what alarm is displayed on OP? BTW, does your spindle has orientation or does both spindles run on same drive or has individual drives? Yes,I’ts true, this spindle motor is controlled/operated by 611D drive. The actual list of parameters see bellow. Please disconnect spindle motor encoder cable & check what alarm is displayed on OP? Each motor is controlled by a separate 611D drive (one drive - one axis) When MD 30240=1 and we unconnected encoder cable from the motor, we have faults: 1) 300504 Axis C1 drive D5 measuring circuit error of motor measuring system 2) 300508 Axis C1 drive D5 zero mark monitoring od motor measuring system 3) 3000 Emergency stop 4) 25201 Axis C1 drive fault 5) 300613 Axis C1 maximum permissible temperature exceeds 6) 025000 Axis C1 hardware fault of active encoder When MD 30240=0 and we unconnected encoder cable from the motor, we have faults: 1) 300504 Axis C1 drive D5 measuring circuit error of motor measuring system 2) 300508 Axis C1 drive D5 zero mark monitoring od motor measuring system 3) 3000 Emergency stop 4) 25201 Axis C1 drive fault 5) 300613 Axis C1 maximum permissible temperature exceeds Attachment 1.jpeg (747 Downloads)

Where can I see it and try to change it?
