Ramya404 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear all advance happy new year, In above cpu i have a problem BF1 blinking and SF is ON, InCPU diagnostic buffer tab showing message"area lenth error when reading " showing like this and DP slave diagnostic tab"dp slave not accesssible by means othe bus" this type os message showing please explain clearly, thanks in advance and awaiting for your solutions.

Florinel Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello. I have some kind of the same problem.I have a profibus network - first node S7-300 series PLC and 2+3rd nodes are IM151-1. The PLC don't want to start (is in stop mode) and i have SF led on + BF led blinking. The same led statuses are on the 3rd node + 2 AI cards (from 3rd node) with SF led on. Interesting thing is that on the second node (the midle of the network) all the leds are green. My question is: - could it be profibus cable issue between 2nd and 3rd node? - if the cable is the problem, shouldn't te PLC go to run mode? why is in stop? - could be the project inside the PLC deleted? the electrician told me that he was dealing with the stop-run button (and the bottom position is the MRES) I have disconnected the profibus plug from the PLC and then tried to put the PLC in run mode but the same thing... blinking green run led a few times after that only orange stop led. I want to mention that i don't have the project to connect to the PLC to see the diagnostic buffer. I will have it on few days but until then i want yours opinions. Thank you very much!

Henio Posts: 53 Rating: (2)	Hi, 1. For sure it could be cable between node 2 and 3. 2. Program could be deleted, but because Your second node is still OK i dont suppose its Your case. 3. Problem why CPU isnt starting (is going to stop mode) is that You have HW problem (node 3 is not accessible) and i think in CPU are not loaded necessary OB8x. 4. Even You dont have project, You still can connect to PLC and upload project to see which OBs are inside. Best regards Henio.
