When you connect the Adapter to the PC a box schould appear "Drives will be installed"! Is there any green LED on the Adapter when you plug in the USB? -.> NO Please read the manual of the Adapter , this adapter will get his power ower the MPI Interface from a PLC or with the additional Power Adapter 6ES7972-0CA00-0XA0 . Have you administration privilegies on the system? Is your user acount a member of the group "SIEMENS TIA ENGINEER" on the System? Regards Christoph
