I wrote the number in my first post,6ES7151-1AA03-0AB0. It is the standard version and we had 41 modules before we starded. But intreasting that it matches what you sau about 13 modules on basic. After 1,5 hours with all 45 modules inserted the system finally went up. And with 14 cards it took 10-15 mins. Strange??

Now I can see all 45 modules, but module 30, 31 says "wrong type". Maybe they have been switched with all the testing, I have not checked it out yet (under ground installation).

But this does not seem normal!?

I also Face Same problem in the past with one of my project in that I have spend almost 15 days to take the IM Module Online.

Later on we have find out that one of the Module is Faulty & it is Distrubing the Communication with DP master If Still you have Actual Preset Miss match is tick on the Hardware.

try to Checked the Backplane Module is Correct & non of the Pin are bend in side it while inserting the Module.

but the above Module you can configured the 64 Module.
try to Checked that you have put the sufficent no of Power Module.

But are you sure that to few power modules can make communication problem? Is it not only to power the inputs/outputs?

The people who was installing the cards said that the BF-led on the IM151-1 disappeared when they had as little as 12 cards in the installation, even when the 24V to the Power module was of. And this indicates that the bus will work even without the power modules. Then later when they increased to 14 modules the BF-led suddenly was on (but finally went off after a long time).

So what do you think, can the power modules really make these kind of problem?

I just talked with the Swedish support line and they said that the power modules only is for inputs/outputs and should not interference the bus.

They did not have any speciall idea of what the problem could be, maybe that the 1AA03-version is sensitive for something and that I could try to change to 1AA05-version (my suggestion and he agreed).
