fm 354 servo

The HW config is a (315-2dp)+(fm350-2)+3(fm354) The problem: when we power on the cpu, it starts to communicate with modules and sometimes can not access to 1, and sometimes with 2, of fm354 module(s) for a while, and there is a message in diagnostic buffer of fm354 that says" module not avalible(i/0 access error or parameter assignment error)". the sf led of cpu elimunate and cpu won't run, after a while this error get disapeared and with a warm restart cpu runs. this can be take a time from 3-5 minutes* to 2-3 days!!! What we have done so far: 1- reconfiguring the whole system 2- changing the placement of faulty module in the rack 3- checking the mpi and module address 4- configuring the modules with last version of their software. accept my thanks in advance.

Description OB 82 is called by the CPU's operating system whenever The diagnostic interrupt has been enabled in a diagnostics-compatible module. The diagnostics-compatible module recognizes a change in the diagnostics state. The diagnostics-compatible module issues a diagnostics request to the CPU. And the CPU is in RUN mode. If OB 82 is not programmed, the CPU goes into STOP mode.

AutoGen_468859 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I think that there is a problem with one of the modules, normally the data for the FM 354 is saved into the CPU and by startup (after power down) it is send to the FM 354's. I would exchange one-by-one the FM 354's. With best regards
