BASIC TOUCHPANEL RESETTING or OS UPDATE NOT POSSIBLE ..

innovations Bronze Member Joined: 5/21/2008 Last visit: 12/13/2025 Posts: 93 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Recently during Downloading Project to HMI KTP 600PN Power is tripped & after that it is not possible either OS UPDATE or OS UPDATE Wth RESETTING TO FACTORY Settings... HMI is showing only startup white screen with MAC Add.. Yellow & Green LED are blinking on Ethernet port When acccesible nodes it does not show IP Address , only it shows device KTP600 BOOTLOADER I tried with TIA PORTAL V11,V13,V!4 even Wincc Flexible (although all are routed to Prosave) but no success.. i am wondering this behaviour (May be new feature added with New version HMI's), because i faced these things several times in past .. but that time OS UPdate happened without any problem.. Pl. suggest...Solution..

Use the Chapter 6.7.7 "Resetting to factory settings with ProSave" in the Basic Panels manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/31032678 It should work in almost 99% I have done it many times.
