before we use the FB 41, Shall the input and output word be scalled/unscalled first?

Sir, before we use the FB 41, Shall the input and output word be scalled/unscalled first? if yes , can we use the FC105 and 106 as scale and unscale block? thank you for your kind knowledge sharing Splitted from FB41 PID example.

The attached file is taken form the System and Standard Functions manual, but you will find the same on the Online help of Step 7 and in various other documents on the support website. You can have the PV (input) either as a direct connection to the PIWxxx address (PV_PER) or as a scaled value (PV_IN); for this last one you can scale your input signal using FC105 with limits between -100.0 and +100.0. To select the type of entry simply set or reset the PV selection bit (PVPER_ON). See how these inputs are described in the manual: PV_PER: PROCESS VARIABLE PERIPHERAL The process variable in the I/O format is connected to the controller at the "processvariable peripheral" input.Type WORD PV_IN: (Type REAL: -100.0 to 100.0) PROCESS VARIABLE IN An initialization value can be set at the "process variable in" input or an externalprocess variable in floating point format can be connected. PVPER_ON PROCESS VARIABLE PERIPHERAL ON If the process variable is read from the I/Os, the input PV_PER must be connected tothe I/Os and the input "process variable peripheral on" must be set. FB41 give you 2 types of outputs, scaled (use FC106 to unscale this one)and unscaled (for connection to a PQWxxx address), simply select the opne you need. These are: LMN: MANIPULATED VALUE The effective manipulated value is output in floating point format at the "manipulated value" output. LMN_PER: MANIPULATED VALUE PERIPHERAL The manipulated value in the I/O format is connected to the controller at the "manipulated value peripheral" output. Am I right, Do you want to use an analog input signal as set point? Please tell us the range of your physical values in analog inputs. Also you can put the loop in manual by changing the MAN_ON =true and values from 0 to 100 to parameter MAN and monitor LMN_PER. If possible, please upload your codes. Best regards

The range is 0-10V signal. i dont have any sensor to simulate the PID control system, so i use (PIW 256) As the setpoint signal connected the 0-10 V - external variable DC power supply. Then i use PIW 258 as the "PV_per" signal. The PIW 258 directly connected with PQW 272 "LMN_per" signal, which is outputting 0-10 V from its module. i have attached the OB 35 on my previous e-mail, now i upload the OB 1. really need your advise or correction for any mistake on the code.
