Hello,

I would like to establish a Profinet connection between the S7-1200 and the IOT2040.

(Because the Profinet Driver is available now.)

Based on this post:

have I configured the PLC as iDevice. 

Unfortunately, I get this error message when building the IOT2040: 

The use of I-devices within the project is not supported by the PN driver.

How can I fix this?

Hello,

use the exported GSDML for the coupling with PN Driver.

The PLC I-Device and PN Driver should not be coupled directly in the project.

first of all thank you very much for your reply.

Now I can create a new project that contains only the PLC and the user program. Then I can upload it independently of the GSDML file, Right?

don't know what you mea with upload?

why you will Upload the PLC to the project if you allready create it in the project?

Because I can't edit the user program in the project with the GSDML-file (see. screenshot on my last post).
