I would like to know how we can access the bits in an input word tag   declared in FC

for accessing tags that have a DB i am using  DB(number).DBX0.1 for bit 1  ,0.2 for bit 2 etc.....

similarly for this type of tag what should i do in LAD?

I would like to know the code for  this in STL too.

Hi,

i believe if you want to reach the bits of a ward declared as an IN at an FC

you need to use a STRUCT type in your in deceleration.

in order for you to reach the bits specifically.

But i am trying to access a tag declared as input parameter  in FC ,

suppose the tag name is st(word) and if i write #st.X0    to access the bits it is not working 

Take a look, it is FC.

First Input to FC is word(#wordVariable) which you want to separate, second input is Pointer(P##pDestLocation) to do destination. Destination is array of bools [0..15]. 16 bits. There is also one more temo variable called #dbNo which is used to open destination DB.  Take a look pic also:
