Sorry, I answered my own question! Needed to change the gain and offset values since this has already been done at an earlier stage in the process. Thank you My next question though is how to de-sensitise the output such that when heating you heat to highest value (eg. 50C) but allow a drop of 4 deg before attempting to heat again. I don't think this is hysteresis as such? Thank you very much for any advice ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Here you go. I hope I have added sufficient comments that it makes sense. It is a domestic heating and hot water controller with a few (hopefully) added efficiencies. As discussed, it uses the average of cylinder top and bottom sensors to determine the rough temp in the middle of cylinder. It has a sensor on the primary boiler circuit so that it can use the residual heat to heat the hot water a little more. It has a sensor on the cold water storage tank in the loft to detect possible pipe freeze and brings on the heating to warm up the house a little. In this cases you must negate the outputs of the treshold triggers. In my screenshot above I use for this a NOT block, because the input of a output block (Q) can not make negated. In your program I negated the input of the follow blocks. Attachment27SPR_V2.zip (221 Downloads) |
