Hello everyone. JAY. I have read all chat about the problems that the talks took place in it. I now have the same problem and I am looking for a solution to it. in the ferst a brief explanation of my project. I have a PLC CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC that contains an add-on SM 1231 AI8 on which I have 2 temperature sensors. I created the project in TIA Portal V16 and set the settings as shown in the siemens documentation. Explain the problem, 1-In the event of an error in the communication between the sensor and PlC, there is no problem in this case, the error can be identified in which channel without problems. Because: "IO_state" Contains the I/O status of the diagnostics- capable module. "laddr" Contains HW-ID. "Channel" Channel number. 2-When the connection between the sensor and PlC is returned The diagnostic interrupt OB does not gives any information about The channel that was fixed. Because: "IO_state" Contains the I/O status of the diagnostics- capable module. "laddr" Contains HW-ID. but "Channel" doesn't give any information about Channel number. Please help solve this problem. So that I can monitor each sensor separately. Another question for experts is it possible to read the device’s memory "Diagnostics buffer". in order to know the device’s status in real time?. Can the color of the lights on the body of the PLC or SM be recognized? This enables us to track the status of the PLC and SM in real time.
