Hello all, first off this logic works exactly how i want it to work but i am not sure why it actually works. For whatever reason i could not upload a screen shot to the post, the screen shot can be found at the following link. I am much more comfortable with TIA vs 5.6 so it might just be my lack of understanding of how a counter works in 5.6 vs TIA. In the screen shot, how can coil DB10.DBX0.7 turn on when address DB10.DBX0.3 is off ? 0.3 is turned on and off in another network in the same FC. it be great if any one could explain why this is working. Hi According to the manual the signal state at output Q is "1" if the counter value is greater than zero (it doesn't depend on conditions before the counter), so it's almost true all the time (Nobody counts 0) and after that the comparator, comprates the In1 and In2 and controls the output. |
