Hello Georg. We have monitored driver connection and there is not a “build up” of read requests when we load a new picture. In the diagnose files, is there some specific logs we should pay extra attention to? We connect to the virtual server/clients via RDP. If we only run the application on one screen on the virtual setup or with an empty WinCC picture on the second screen, there is no performance issue. When the application is running on only one screen and scrollbar is enabled for graphics runtime and we position the scrollbar so that we can see both picture windows (1920x1080) on our base picture (3840x1080). The object update time is running without any performance issue, even if both picture windows is containing objects. If the application is running on two screens via RDP and we select pictures containing objects on both screens, the update time is nearly 2 x times as long compared to only one screen. The small Intel NUC is able the run as WinCC server with a two-screen setup, without any performance issues. If we disconnect the two physically screens and connect via RDP from a computer with two screens, it does not affect the performance. Since the same WinCC application is able to run on the physically setup, our concern is the virtual setup. …and performs the SSH diagnostic in vmware kb 2001003: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2001003 There is no lack of resources on the ESXI setup. |
