Hi By adding new code to PLC, the working memory is growing and Monitorinig time become bigger value, currently i have 24400 ms for "Max. Scan cycle time extension" is there any limit on "Max. Scan cycle time extension" what is "Scan cycle time extension" mean in easy word, i have read the manual and check the all chapter, just what to understand it more. Is "Scan cycle time extension" time CPU extend the normal cycling time, before start the next cycle of updating data? or this just for link-up and update? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Ali00, As far as I understand: Your program exceed the normal cycle time by 24s. You parameterize a maximum cycle time (default: 6000ms) and your program exceed this time by 24s. If your program exceed the maximum cycle time the OB80 will be called. The most questions you ask are already answered in the forum: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/ww/en/posts/ob80-interrupt/82641?page=0&pageSize=300 "You must make sure that the run time of each cyclic interrupt OB is significantly shorter than its interval. If a cyclic interrupt OB has not been completely executed before it is due for execution again because the interval has expired, the time error OB (OB80) is started. The cyclic interrupt that caused the error is executed later."
