E/R Module (6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1) Troubleshooting

Norm.maint Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear All Experts, The E/R Module INT 36/47 Kw Giving us headache recently. It's start from the DC Bus Short to Ground (with the cover). The Green Led Lamp lit on but the DC bus voltage is very low (32VDC). Yellow LED was not lit. It gives almost 2 days Breakdown time and luckily our costumer having another problem and they don't bother on us. Lastly we swap the E/R module between the machine and we found that E/R module is the cause. How can I reduce my troubleshooting time beside parts replacement and doing "try and error" method? Can anybody helpme please.. Norman

Signals are 24VDC for Enabled. Power-Conector are closed (Inside ER-Modul) Check all 24VDC-Voltage an Power-Modul. Tell us here.

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello Norman, Here's a note on one possibility: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24040602 Attached is a Adobe PDF that may help you in the future. Troubleshooting as you probably know is to isolate things. One way to isolate problems with Infeed Regen Modules is to remove the logic interface and use toggle switches to trigger the enables, disconnect the DC bus from other power modules and such, and disconnect the electronic equipment bus from other modules as well. Allow the unit to standalone from your entire drive system and see if it comes up properly by itself or not. Hope this helps... Attachment IR Module Troubleshooting.pdf (2367 Downloads)
