Differences to Intel i586 boards support:

- Serial3 (X30), Serial4 (X31) and SerialUsb (USB X60) support
- rs485 and rs422 switching for Serial3 and Serial4
- rs485 and rs422 line termination select
- UserLed library
- UserButton library
- Ethernet (X1)
 -Ethernet1 (X2)

If you found any errors, please open an Issue on GitHub.

No puedo conectarme al puerto Ethernet1 (X2), cuando configuré 

Ethernet.begin (mac, ip);

El simatic iot2040 usa el mismo puerto (Ethernet (X1)) con 2 direcciones IP diferentes, y el otro puerto no se conecta.

Configuro interfaces con ip estática de los dos puertos.

¿Cómo puedo diferenciar X1 y x2 en el IDE arduino?

Hola,

Ethernet.begin establece la ip del puerto ethernet. Normalmente no necesita esta llamada si ha configurado la ip en iot2000setup. ¿Qué valores tienes para ip e ip2? Nota: para ip, por ejemplo, tiene que 192.168.200.xxx y ip2 192.168.201.xxx porque sí, la netmask es 255.255.255.0. Perdón por mi mal español.

Esto es lo que tengo configurado:

también configuré el archivo  / etc / network / interfaces :

# La interfaz de bucle de retorno 
automático lo 
iface lo inet loopback 

# Interfaces cableadas 
auto eth0 
iface eth0 inet 
dirección estática 192.168.1.200 
máscara de red 255.255.255.0 
auto eth1 
iface eth1 inet 
dirección estática 192.168.1.201 
máscara de red 255.255.255.0 

Con todo esto, deber funcionar, pero no lo haga, el puerto X1 toma las 2 ips y el puerto X2 no hace nada, cuando está conectado solo el x2 NO se puede acceder y no hacer ping al siemens iot2040 y cuando se conecta el X1 este puerto toma las 2 ips configuradas y el X2 NO funciona. Ya he hecho varias cosas y no sirve. 
Necesito trabajar con los dos puertos porque no hay puerto que recibir modulo y por el otro enviar jabón / xml, ya lo tengo hecho solo con el puerto X1, pero los problemas al momento de enviar y recibir muchos datos, por eso se necesita usar los los cuales 2 puertos. 

Talvez algo en la librería esta direccionado entre el eth0 y eth1.

Luego de configurar el archivo /etc/network/interfaces  asignando una ip estática al puerto X2, el siemens iot ya debería tener la ip asignada y se podría acceder a el solo con conectarlo a un hub o switch desde este puerto x2, pero esto no ocurre, NO se configura el puerto X2 luego de configurar /etc/network/interfaces, el puerto X1 toma los dos valores ips y solo funciona cuando el X1 esta conectado, al conectar el X1 y X2 juntos, solo funciona el X1, pero como si estuviera configurado 2 ips.

La configuracion del acrchivo /etc/network/interfaces es:

# La interfaz de bucle de retorno 
automático lo 
ifet lo inet loopback 

# Interfaces cableadas 
auto eth0 
iface eth0 inet 
dirección estática 192.168.1.200 
máscara de red 255.255.255.0 
auto eth1 
iface eth1 inet

i tried to download from the link https://github.com/sblyolcubal/arduino-iot2000 but it seems it is no longer present on GitHub.

I am trying to port a sketch from an Arduino Zero and the known issue of the udp remoteip and remoport is frustrating.

I do not know if the above libraries fixed this and other bugs too but I really hope so.

I do not understand why Siemens keeps on declaring this is compatible with the Arduino and then they do not give developpers a serious and professional support.

There are plenty of projects and ideas ready to be ported in a professional and industrial enviroment and the IOT20x0 may be the solution but with this kind of support they will remain in the drawer. Think also about the promise to have libraries for profinet usable by the Arduino Ide. As far as I know there is nothing yet... it is a pity.

the IOT2000 board support for Arduino IDE is written by a other person and not from me.

I write this person and ask why they delete the IOT2000 Library.

They answer me, that the IOT2000 board support is forked from Intel Galileo board support  https://github.com/01org/corelibs-galileo and have problems with intel license clarification.

Therefore this person deletes the IOT2000 Library from GitHub.

Thank you for the very quick reply.

I read about the same problem by other people but I did not find any answer or solution in the topics:

when we use UDP, every time we receive a packet we must be able to retrieve both IP addredd and Port of the remote partner sending the packet.

While in Arduino (in all the kind of boards I used) this command works perfectly, in the IOT it always returns 255.255.255.255 as the remote IP and 0 as the remote Port.

I would like to know if someone fixed the bug to be able to port the firmware from the othe Arduino boards to the IOT.
