I've a problem with that OPCUA-Client which will not be visiable in the nodes of Node-Red with the IOT2040 and it's last firmware-image. I installed some more nodes eg.: S7... these nodes are visible and running. After that i updated npm and Node-RED and tried to reinstall the OPCUA-Client. But nothing changed. I installed Node-Red and the OPCUA-Client on a RaspberryPI and it's working fine. Anyone an idea, why the OPCUA Client is not visible with the actual Image of the IOT2040 after the installation? Thanks in advance...

Hi, the problem is, that the OPC UA nodes have been update to version 0.2.13. This version requires node.js version 6, the node.js version in our image is V4.2.4 Workaround: Remove the OPC UA node version 0.2.13 cd /usr/lib/node_modules rm -r -f node-red-contrib-opcua and install the OPC UA node version 0.2.11 npm install node-red-contrib-opcua@0.2.11 Now you can use the OPC UA nodes in node red. Best regards!

JDarius Posts: 215 Rating: (6)	I've checked the ID but I can't figure out, why the gauge is still showing nothing. I'm using PLCSSim Advanced 1.0, and the software should support OPC UA.

Select all the nodes and then go to menue -> export -> Clipboard. Then copy this content in a text file and upload it here. Maybe there is a misconfiguration.

JDarius Posts: 215 Rating: (6)	Ok, here it goes: Furthermore: I activated OPC UA server on the PLC, the tag is checked as accessible from HMI/OPC UA, nodeID is copied from the exported xml file, IP adresses are right (S7 communication still works). Attachment node_red_opc.txt (1848 Downloads)
