How to save CSV as PDF with VB script or make it read only???

mskrpan1 Advanced Member Joined: 3/5/2017 Last visit: 5/6/2021 Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hello, i made that my report is saved in csv by VB script, now i want to ask is there any whey to save csv to pdf?? Reason is i want file to be read only when manager comes and put USB inside of panel and transfer csv that csv file cant be edited. File that HMI create when i put in on USB stick is editable but i need it to be uneditable. So if there is any whey to make it read only even like csv it would be great if not is there any oder whey to make it like pdf with script? Thanks in advance!!

This is actually only an idea, yet, as I never tried something similar. Another way would be reading the content of the csv to HMI-tags and link those tags to a report. Then you can print the report by use of the PDF Printer. As I don't know the content of the csv resp. the amount of data you need to be printed, maybe this solution might not work. Be aware that printing on the panel (as well as RT Advanced) uses the standard printer of the system. And I guess you cannot change the standard printer on a panel using a script. Regards, Frink

Regards, Frink Hello, dear, I was looking for information for several days and I got a solution. Using Script and PDFCreator can work. This is an example I use. I first send PDF Printer to print and then I make a routine to open PDFCreator which automatically saves the document with the current date. RUNTIME WINCC ADVANCED ON PC.....
