Dear Experts,

I have two PG's
(I). Simatic PG 740 PIII (CP5611)
(ii). Simatic Field PG M4 (CP5711)

The problem is that my PG M4 is not communicating with any hmi or s7300/200 controller. It was communicating before but not now. I am getting the errors which are in the attached screenshots.

In the attached screenshot I was communicating an hmi TP170B Color with my PG M4.

With PG 740PIII, everything is alright. but with PG M4 I am getting the errors with same settings as that of 740PIII.

Please help me out of this.

set the configuration to CP5711(Auto) and check if any bus is found.

And try to activate the Option "is only master on the bus" if you have only slaves connected to the CP5711.

i did it but still no communication found. I am amazed that my one pg 740 pIII is working fine but my PG M4 is not working. any other solution to this?

I tried everything to communicate my PG M4 with PLC but in vain.

I think its CP 5711 card is faulty.

Therefore I am going to buy 6GK1571-1AA00.

Please tell me will this solve my issue?

If you have a scope put channels on 3 and on 8, referred to 5 and look if the CP5711 drive the bus.

last but no last: generally the faulty part of MPI/DP cards is the last IC driver : SN75LS176 (in CP5611) very cheap ...
