Hello flash; Firdt, I doubt that going from a version 2.6 to a version 2.6.10 should bring about enough changes in your PLC that your network would become unstable. Could you please give us more details on the problems you encounter with the Profibus line? "Unstable" could mean you lose stations,or that transmissions are not reaching their destination... What exactly do you encounter? If you have any diagnostic LEDs linked to the Profibus faults on the master or any slave, there will be entries in the diagnostic buffer of the CPU that you can use as hints to solve your problems. If you need help understanding the logged error messages you can use the Save As.. button on the buffer page, to transfer all messages to a text file that you can upload here. That way we can help you understand the source of your problems. That being said, most technical problems on a Profibus network that is properly configured come from the physical installation: cables, connectors and terminations on the different ,modules. First I would like to thank you for your reply problem is not physical for sure but its caused by CPU as when I downloaded the program on VIPA cpu with all physical installation its appear its working fine but with siemens CPU 317 2DP its not working I mean by unstable communication (transmissions are not reaching their destination) but their is no faults or BF or SF , when I disconnct the Profibus connector from CPU then connect it again , communication work ! |
