Need hsp for CPU 1214C 6ES7 214-1HG40-0XB0 V4.2.0

#dP Posts: 2826 Rating: (686)	Hello. Configure with Step7 V13 SP1 Update 9 or Step7 SP2. Select firmware V4.1. This is what I do and have seen no ill-effects. (Not saying there will not be for you.) Only a software warning that can be ignored. The updated functionality from V4.2 will however not be available. It will work as-if a V4.1. Bye. - Dan

Selecting a new PLC you will see the description and picture on the right side. The version number has a drop down to select between V4.0 and V4.1. More: In the device configuration - right click on the PLC picture and ask for "change device". Select the part number again. The option will be available to update the version. Bye. - Dan

Update V4.2.1
CPU Firmware update V4.2.1. replaces CPU Firmware update V4.2.0.
CPU firmware update V4.2.1 allows the S7-1200 CPU to accept a project download from STEP 7 V13 (TIA Portal V13) where the project includes high-speed counters (HSCs).
