Hello Dilip, which error message do you get at P_SND_RK? Which interface do you use - RS232 or RS485? Regards, Kaulquappe |

Hello Dilip; I was not aware that MM440 drives were enabled for Modbus RTU communciations. I have used Profibus-DP extensively with MM4 drives, USS occasionnaly with a S7-200 master, and I have seen some with a DeviceNetcommunication modulewith some Rockwell controllers. Do you have a manual or a link to documentation on such an interface? One thing is clear: it RX is not blinking on the CP 341, it means the slave is not replying, which probably means it is not recieving anything it recognizes as a message from the master. Is it an electrical problem, or is oit simply not designed to recieve messages over Modbus RTU? If you want to continue using Modbus, you could look at specialized gateways, such as this one from Panel-Tec: Modbus to MM440 - Panel-Tec Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Dear Kaulquappe, Thanks for the reply. I connect MM440 with CP341 on RS 485. And the error code in P_SND_RK is W#16#1E0F. |

Hello Dilip, did you set R_TYP = X ? Check the length of the receive data block. Regards, Kaulquappe |
