Hi Here is the first feedback on the Industry Online Support App for WP8 ! The App looks good .. is pretty fast ( On my Lumia 920 ) ... no issues so far ( Using it for 4 days now ) Live Tile shows the No of Unread Updates available .. which is a good feature. Overall, the app is quite smooth to use. Great effort forthe firstversion of the Appon WP8. I am sure more features will be added in future updates ( ...Access to this forum maybe... as has been discussed previouslyin this thread ). A few suggestions : TheApp seems to be almost identical to its Anrdoid / iOS cousins. It would be even better if some WP8 featureswere added. e.g. Live tile could displaynews updatesor show different product pics. Also an option to linkPictures for Industry support / update info on Lock screen would be an icing on the cake. Overall a great piece of work. Thanks to the Development team. Cheers Navnag |

Hello Impulse Here are a few more comments / suggestions, now that I have been using the App for almost 2 weeks : a) What's the News Page supposed to display ?? - Didi not see anything on this page so far. b) Should consider Setting Product Filters for the Updates in next version., so that we see updates only regarding the products that we have selected. e.g. I am not interested in SINUMERIK Updates. c) Can we not provide a provision to log into the Automation Support through the App using our Login / Password. This way our settings can be automatically be available in the App. e.g. for Support Requests d) The much requested option to access this Forum through the App ( I hope will also be released for WP8 alongwith other OS ) Cheers Navnag |
