why i can't download attachment file

you have to login on the site first before you can download.

When done login you should see your name in top right corner.

Whenever I tried to download any attachment file the " IDM " Asks me user name and password

 I think , there are 2 possibilities to handle this case:

1. Define your user and password for IDM via Download-->Options-->Site logins.Try it again, perhaps it helps.
   
   
2. You can remove all file types that IDM tries to download automatically via Download-->Options-->File types.Delete all file types for automatic download and try again.

These are some workarounds to alleviate the problem and they are 100% solutions.

did you notice that this thread is almost 5 years old? I cannot imagine that you have the same issue like the topic creator. So please tell us what exactly you aren't able to download.
