Hi there,

I'm trying to force PLC outputs via PLCSİM, i use the menu command Variable > Display Force Values to open the "Force Values" window but it always returns me with this: "Force is not possible on this module"

I've tried different types of CPUs and i alwyas got this error message, Does it occur thats whay i try to force via PlcSim? or is there other reason?

Could you please explain me that how can i force i/o values??

Hi
Basically you can use the Feature Dispaly Force Value when you are connected with PLC .
You can not use this with PLCSim .
To Force the Values using PLC Sim you can use the PLC Sim I/O Layouts(Variables) to force the I/O.

Seems strange that you cannot force I/O's from PLCSIm as PLCSIM should enable you to modify I/O values.

Why don't you try forcing the I/O thorough a variable table?
Click on your blocks, then click Insert >> Variable table.

Add the I/O that you are trying to force then in the modify column put the desired output/input

I think you are talking about  

Insert --> S7Block --> Variable Table or

right click on blocks folder then Insert New Objects --> Variable Table. 

I have tried that with PLCSIM v5.4 , this does not work. 

Also tried PLC--> Monitor/Modify Variables. Still same result.

I conclude, When talking about Forcing IO or memories  Step7 does not work work PLCSIM . 

If someone has different experience or i'm missing something please let me know.
