I have some trouble with connection my notebook to PLC via Ethernet .

OS: Windows 7 Unlimate 64 bit
Installed Software: TIA Portal V13 SP1 Upd2 /TIA Portal V11 /STEP7 5.5 SP4 /STEP7 MicroWIN V4.0 SP9 /WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3

I can't connect to my PLC (CPU314C-PN/DP) and HMIs (KTP700 Basic PN /KTP1200 Basic PN).
Maybe it's hapened after upgrading V13 SP1 Upd2 package.

Now I only connect to my PLC via MPI/DP, and I can't download my progarm to two HMIs. 

So after removing MicroWin and reinstalling some of TIA and Step7, the result is the same.
Before with WinXP, I also used the trick with "SIMATIC IEPG Help Service", but now in Win7 64bit, there is no such a service .

   I have the same problem. Since last week, after installing MicroWin, I get the same error message when trying to use the nic or the wifi card in TIA V13 on my win7 64bit laptop.

There are a couple of posts about this error, but the bad news is that I could not find a solution in them.

I will try to install SP1, maybe that will help.

I've moved MicroWin to a VM.

I installed SP1 but got the same error message.

Then I tryed to start TIAP with "Run as Administrator". NO more error message.

What could be the reason?

You can try the following for a bad PG/PC driver problem.

cd C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices
del *.xml
shutdown -r

Save this file as:
"Fix.bat"
(set the save as type to all types)

Your PC wil restart, after that you go to start -> Configuration panel -> PG/PC Interface

And you will set the correct PG / PC interface.

Than you will start the TIA Portal and will go to:

- Options -> Settings -> Online & Diagnostic.

And uncheck the "Use the default connection path" and hit [x]

(when you switch some tabs, it will be put on again. TIA bug )

In my computer,  it has not this file floder.

"C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices"

I find other two folders:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\meta\DefaultLogDevices"

and

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\install\DefaultLogDevices"

I think that fist one is correst file path.

Then, I del all *.xml files in \meta\DefaultLogDevices, and restart.

Follow your tips, I reconfiguration PG/PC interface in Control Panel, recheck "online and diagnostic" option.

But everything isn't change. I fail.

I recheck \meta\DefaultLogDevices, it's empty.
