After working through this document, the USER LED of the SIMATIC IOT2000 is blinking. Some of the content in this document is related to the "Setting up the SIMATIC IOT2000". Please work through the Setting up at first. Feel free to share your experience! Update 04.02.2020 Updated attached document. Is now related to Image version V2.6 Update 19.04.2017 A new version of the Eclipse PlugIn (V1.2.0) is now available athttps://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109744106/simatic-iot2000-eclipse-plugin?dti=0&lc=de-WW PlugIn runs now within Eclipse Mars and adding C-projects is possible. Download "Eclipse_Plugin_IOT2000_V1.2.0.zip, extract it and copy the .jar file to the dropins folder of your Eclipse directory. Remove the old .jar file in the dropins folder. New Windows SDK (V2.1.3) is available. Update 06.03.2017 A new version of the Eclipse PlugIn (V1.1.0) is now available at https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109744106/simatic-iot2000-eclipse-plugin?dti=0&lc=de-WW Some fixes are done, for example building errors after adding source files. Download "Eclipse_Plugin_IOT2000_V1.1.0.zip, extract it and copy the .jar file to the dropins folder of your Eclipse directory. Remove the old .jar file in the dropins folder. Update 03.01.2017: A newer version of the Getting Started is available now with a description how to set up the general Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers to use the SIMATIC IOT2000. The Getting Started document describes how to use an Eclipse for C/C++ Developers with a Siemens Plug-In and a Siemens SDK. Please download the latest "Getting Started" in this topic (V2.0) and follow the steps describes. Best regards!

I had the same errors using an old version of 7zip (9.0), with the latest version (16.04) it works. This requirement is described on the download page of the SDK (see attachement). I am not experienced with Eclipse, is the "sdk" or the "toolchain" the problem? I am getting frustrated about all this lost time
