my problem is not alarm 700142,but when i start spindle in mdi mode,channel interrupt comes ,this is the my problem sir.

 

is not Siemens system alarm but PLC alarm, i.e. it is developed by machine tool builder. So please check PLC logic, specially DB2.DBX201.1 bit. It must be 1 so this alarm is trigered. From the displayed message, please check the machine doors, may be any limit switch configured as safety input not working properly.

Hello,

Set point is calculated by NC & not by PLC. PLC controls interlock signals like drive enable, drive start stop.

How is analog voltage is supplied? Does 840D system has HLA module i.e.6SN1115-0BA11-0AA1 or ADI4 module?

there is analog output module in plc  for setpoint to drive sir.

 

If HLA or ADI4 module, disconnect wires of analog out put & check if analog voltage is available at terminals when spindle start command is applied. Short ciruit in out put wiring or at drive side may cause voltage drop. Confirm it.
