Could you give me brief instruction on how to use this COMTEXT 3.10 on the PLC.net link? 

There's only the "LHA" manual included on the link (which I'm not sure what it is).

What platform could this be installed? Windows XP?

try support request. LHA is old packer (where old times are...), probably Siemens can give you help file.

Update: when I put some similar text in Google, it produce links about old panels pdf, inside that documentation are also described how to program exact panel with Comtext SW. OS is Win95 probably, simply real MS-DOS OS support is needed.

I see, I've already extracted the LHA compressed folders. But still there's no instruction whatsoever about the installation and platform.

It's Comtext v3.10 btw. So it's Windows 95, and it's a DOS OS? I wonder if I could use a virtual machine for that, maybe on the PG where there's the serial port for it?
