Hello, You have to insert OB81 within your software. OB81 will be called in case of battery fault. Battery error with the S7-400: OB81 is not called In the above FAQ, you can found which variable you have to monitor to know status of batteries. In the bellow thread, you will found links which will guide you to monitor BATT indication switch switch. i am using s7400h system(412H) in my project how can i find battery fault in powersupply? Hope this helps.

Putta_smg Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hello, Thanks for ur suggestion. i checked the OB81 code and while Battery fault it is triggering a DB bit and no where Memory bit is assighned. adding to that The memory bit configured for CPU battrey Fault is nowhere called except in one block. this memory bit is triggering in every power recycle and data is getting loss.there is no Battery fault on CPU and no abnormal entry in Diagnostic buffer.. Please suggest how to trace it
