What must be the output when input < 3V or > 8V, you have not told us. But look at my programm its works from 3 to 8 Volt You have to calculate the settings of the analog ampliefier. Span = 9 - 3,3 V = 5,7V Input = 8 - 3 = 5 Volt Whole range (0-10Volt inthe LOGO!) = 5,7 /5 = 11,4 LOGO only calculate with integers (whole numbers) So i multiply every valuwe with 100. When setting this, the output is always 12 to high, so you have to extract 12 of the value Notice that the LOGO works with 0 - 1000 intern, this is 0 - 10 Volt to the analog output Attachmentschuin1.zip (204 Downloads) |

The setpoint can't go below 3v og above 8v due to the limits on the control-lever (potentiometer). It should never actuate the the actuator beyond 3.3v and 9v. The feedback is in fact 0-10v, but I want to software-limit it to 3.3v and 9v. Actuator is actuated by digital outputs (see attached schematic). I'll take a look at your example. Edit:I think I got it working correctly with comparators and stuff. Thanks alot! Dyu have any suggestions as for the software limits?

Hi there somlioy. Thank you very much for the image. It was of great help to understand what you were trying to do. Please have a look at the assembly of files in the ZIP attachment: * Program idea * Spreadsheet (x2 types) with graphs * JPEG notes for when you are simulating the program * JPEG what you should see in the spreadsheet The spreadsheet is of great help for getting to fill in the the parameters for the amplifiers.Less human math and more computer calculations. I think I will have these files speak for me first, otherwise I spend too much time in explaining my reasoning in approaching this problem.. and you might understand by just looking at the notes provided. What I will say, speaks to the heart of the problem.. The x2 analog that are read into the LOGO needed be be rescaled to the same range. Otherwise comparing these values for control will not be possible. If my notes are not clear.. please feel to free to ask.. if not me, someone else would be happy to help with answers.
