Why? I you want chancevalues for test via the PC, use the integrated webserver. |

Yes, it would be nice to have an egg-laying wool milk sow for low price with all imaginable functions. Siemens has created the base to do many things with the Logo controller. If you create a S7 or Modbus client on a PC, you can program all scenarios you want, if you use the Logo controller as server. For this you can download different clients, maybe also for Excel. For accuracy of your tracking think about the packet oriented connection, this is not a real-time system. For very special things usable for 1 of 1,000,000 people it is economically unviable to program such options. I use e.g. Profilab to create machinery protocols in our company, this is a low cost version of matlab and i use the Modbus protocol. If you are able to program Visual Basic, then you can create Excel spreadsheets either with S7 or Modbus protocol and your own utilities. Regards, Scorp |
