I have TP270 connected to PLCs CPU226 AND I want to trend few variables in each PLC and create the graphs, but for some reason the protool is nto allowing me to create the "trend request" for the second PLC. Did anyone tried to do this kind of trending? Sincerely,

sfestiva Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	The 2 plcs that I have (cpu226) connection is established through port 0 and I have TP270 communication also established to the 2 plcs through port 1. from the tp270 I can see both plcs and everything else is great. The problem is that I want to trend 2 variables one variable from PLC1 and 1 variable from PLC2 on the same hmi tp270 I am using bit triggered trends, therefore I am creating a "trend request" in protool that reference PLC1 but when I try to create "trend request" that referece PLC2 Protool is giving me an error: "The trend request area and the trend transfer area #2 must be assigned to the same PLC" Any ideas :s Sincerely,

In the properties of the curves (Tab: Data Source) you can select the specified trigger bit. If youchoose the bit to16 or higher the systen select the second plc. Bye
