If it goes to Run mode... that will means the PLC SIM and TIA Works well and maybe the problema is on your code. Did you 've all OBs for avoid errors?¿ OB86, OB121... NOte: 1. Download to PLC-SIM 2. Put it on RUN 3. Then Go Online,

Try agains, 1.- Create a new Project with OB1 for a S7-1500 or S7-1200 2.- Start PLC-SIM v14 for a S7-1500 or S7-1200 3.- Click on RUN (on STOP mode it must Works also) 3.- Goes to ONLINE - "Extended connection" and find the inteface PLC SIM... and donwload...

mattiasR Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi all, i've got the same problem but no issues with communication to the physical plc. It all worked normally until a tia crash. IP adres was never changed and ping to plc (1510spf) is succesful. I tried flashing the firmware again, flashing to different version, reset plc to factory settings once with retaining ip adres, once without. I also tried to format the memorycard but in all cases no luck. Any advise? Edit: smulation works fine

First, get TIA Portal repaired. Use Windows Control Panel / Settings, Programs & Features / Apps, and then select TIA Portal V1? and perform a repair of the installation. If you are using a USB / LAN adapter, try a different USB port. If you are not using a USB / LAN adapter, try using one. Try launching TIA Portal "As Administrator" Try creating a new local user on your PC and then login with that account to see if TIA Portal was only messed up for your user account, or for the entire PC. mattiasR Hi all, i've got the same problem but no issues with communication to the physical plc. It turned out the problem was in PLC's blocks - all of them had no attribute "Can be simulated with SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM". Steps to problem solution: 1) As was mentioned above by Stepont "Go to project properties (above "Add new device")> Protection: and switch on "Support simulation during block compilation"; 2) Then you have to compile software (all). After this action attribute "Can be simulated..." will be set; 3) Download your program to PLCSIM. This worked for me with TIA 15.1 and PLCSIM 15.1 Best regards, APPshnik
