no, this is serial connection cfg which is prepared with blocks and also with HW cfg of serial module. Look, if you have some real Slave device now this not help to you because you have problems with blocks cfg, logically. I recommend better connect some PC Modbus application via suitable USB-serial adapter and simulate your real device. This can be better test than have problems with real device, ther can be other aspects what can also affect your functionality. I can only recommend now browse Forum for some topics similar to your and learn what to do and how cfg your connection with Slave/s.

There is also possibility to set values without init OB but you need pay attention programatically to do this correctly, simply you need to know what you do.

then you have not correct logic for DONE check or you have general (default) settings on comm module what I don't expect because of specific comm settings. Therefore I recommended to you not have some logic with signals executing blocks but only manually set input signals and have only important logic for output signals to know if all is ok.
