Possible to "downgrade" Simoreg 6RA70 versions?

Slab Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi all! We've been installing some Simoreg 6RA70's FW-version 2.2, 9 in all, and we're still to install3 more. After the first 9 vers. 2.2 (who all are up and running), we're no starting to receive vers. 3.1. Our ideawas to have the possibility to mix and match the 12 Simoreg's, and only 1 parameter file for customer to download in casethey need to change the Simoreg (2 in backup).Now we will have a problem because the different versions. The best way for us is to "downgrade" the firmware. Is this possible? I've seen the other way around; using Hexload to upgrade firmware. Regards!

powerpack Posts: 74 Rating: (3)	I have upgraded a few 6ra70 drives from V2.1 to V2.26 and then down graded all the drives to V2.03 with out any hassels. But I am also not sure if you can go from the latest V3 back to the version2s.

Then only downgrading of version will not help. Because with product status A3 on drives obviously you would be recieving NEW CUD1 (C98043-A7001-L2) on this old software version will not work. So you will have, to not only downgrade software version to V2.2x but also use OLD CUD1(C98043-A7001-L1).
