I have some problems with a 6RA70 simoreg drive

The drive stops in o7.6 as the manual says it is about "wait for completion of "Load MLFB" operation (performed at factory)

The configuration of drive is master-slave and working on profibus. Drives working fine but after a shutdown we are not able to start it again.

Now if the power falls down the parameters are completely clean and the drive goes to factory settings.

Have you any ideas about the remedy?

Hello.

It looks like the board C98043-A7009 (at backside of PMU), which store all the parameters of drive is damaged. Did you try to reset to factory settings and recomissioning the drive?

Yes I had performed a factory reset but it hadn't work.

Finally we have changed the C98043-A7009 board and everything looks to be fine. after that there is some abnormal vibration and noise on the motor while it is running. I had done a thyristor check with p830=3 on  both slave and master drives and there was a fault on slave drive by value of 11, then we checked for for any loose connections on X11 and after that do the check again and we had seen no faults. also we check for tachometer to works fine and it was OK. Maybe there is some problems with bearings.  hope to find it soon.

Just to know about the operation of drives, does the board C98043-A7009, stores all of the parameters or the hardware parameters only(MLFB)?

I need to order some new C98043-A7009 boards for my SIMOREG 6RA7087 drive, but as I look at the back of this board the code was C98040-A7009

is it any deference between C98043-A7009 and C98040-A7009?

I'm not sure, but according to spare part list there should be C98043-A7009, so ask Siemens via Support Request about compatibility of these boards.
