Hi

 I have SIMATIC_CPU_1507S_V2_1.exe software downloaded from CPU 1500 . Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit OS. Also there is no siemens sotware installed except latest prosave.

While installing it's showing this error. Even I have sufficient space in requested drive.

 I have this problem too, in a IPC427E i am trying to install but i get always that error.

Anyone have the solution?

Hi,

follow the instructions in the Manual of the SW Controller.

Change the Parttions on the IPC so that the requiered partitions  for SW Controller install arre match.

Hello,

the default Partition of the IPC Restore is not compatible with the SW Controller requirements!

You must make the Parttions by yourself so that it matches the SW Controller.

Try the following:

shrink the D: Partition so that 1 GB unpartitioned Space is available, you can do this in the Windows Computer Administration -> Volumes

Hello Deltamatic S.A.,

- Press "Windows-Logo Key + R" and type compmgmt.msc

- Under "Storage" open "Disk Management"

- Wait some seconds until your disks show up. Select your disk and resize a partition. (reduce)

This will result in some free space after the resized partition. Make sure, that this free space is at least 401 MB.

Having this unpartitioned space you can install S7-1500 Soft-PLC.

without data loss only with 3rd party tools lie EaseUS Partition manager.

With windows is not possible.

I have converted to MBR and after that the installation was done without error.
