cpu 313c starting problem

sukhoi Posts: 88 Rating: (1)	hello after powring up the plc the only led DCV5 and STOP led are ON the problem is that the cpu runs normally when i put the switch on STOP mode and swich it back on RUN mode(manual start). but if i switch off the entire machine and switch it on the cpu goes into STop mode . the cpu is connected to a slave DP (wago i/o module) when i logged to diagnostic buffer it shows that the cpu requests a manual warm restart ( the diagnostic buffer is attached) Attachment Diagnose.txt (731 Downloads)

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 12/17/2025 Posts: 6885 Rating: (1368)	Hello, One possible cause of STOP, would be delayed initialization of remote slave and it inputs and outputs.Download OB82/86 for test in CPU and check again.If you again encounter same behavior with "Event 4x46" , check the remedial action explained in online help for that event. Help on Event 4x46 Cause: The CPU has requested a memory reset due to a problem in the load memory. To correct or avoid errors: If the memory reset request is repeated after acknowledgment, remove the memory card. If the memory reset request is still not cleared after it has been acknowledged, the CPU must be sent to the manufacturer for repair. I hope this helps, hdhosseini

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 12/17/2025 Posts: 6885 Rating: (1368)	sukhoi i had this problem with the ob 86 loaded I also agree to increase the number of diagnostics buffer and test both experiences : Power cycle the machine-->CPU in STOP-->Mode transition to RUN (Case1) Power cycle the machine-->CPU in RUN (Case2) For each case, save the buffer and upload it here to check if any event ID can be associated to the behavior of your CPU.
