Moby I Problem

samsy Advanced Member Joined: 5/11/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 54 Rating: (1)	[:cry:] I am trying to get a ASM450 and MOBY I SLG 42 to run on a 315 -2DP PLC with FC44. We are already using this setup throughout the plant (except using SLG41) with the same control software but on this new machine I cant get it to run. - The problem seems to be that the control bits6 and7 in the BEST word are contsantly on and bit 15 is always off. I've tried carriying out various resets and forcing bits, etc but the status always reverts back to this. Any help or advice would be appreciated, Thanks Graeme

I've been looking on the Siemens site for what the latest version is but I can't find it anywhere. The version I'm using is 2.0 according to the properties. The software works fine on the other machines, its just this new installation.- I've tried attaching a SLG41 as in on the other machines and the symptoms are the same. Thanks, Graeme

[:P] Have you find the handbook for the FC44: MOBY ASM 450/FC 44, Technical Description In this handbook they speak about the version of FC44 > 2.1 [:blush:] Please also look to the errors that can be given, see chapter 8.1.2. , maybe that there is given extra information about whats going wrong... [;)]
