Dear Experts, I am trying to setup the data logging on demand function on Siemens Basic KTP400 panel to save the datalog to the USB memory stick. The Idea is to log data at specific moment. At first I made data log in Historical Data, with necessry tags. After I create a trigger bit in PLC. In the properties of this bit in HMI tags in Data change Event I created the "LogTag" functions for necessary tags. But the logging is not working. It is working "on change" of the value, "acyclic" also working. This mode - no. Can somebody help me? I am programming on TIA portal Version 14. sorry friend where do you seting the °°cicle continuis°° im still have the same problem ( no log ) im using ktp700 basiic, usb 4gb,fat 32

Hello, you can use a variable from PLC to make visible some text, the same variable should have the events configured to trigger log system functions.
