Cannot install hardware updates

Abusq Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	hi this is abu I cannot install hardware updates. while given install hardware update it downloaded from net but cannot installing showing only tia engineers can instal? . can anyone suggest me what to do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Step7 install hardware updates. Hello, you login must be in the User Group "Siemens TIA Engineer" this usergroup is created during installation of Step7 on th System. Regards Christoph

MikeDeploy Posts: 1 Rating: (2)	Sort of a different thread here...but I also noticed that the Hardware update install can hang without giving any error as to what causes this. If you run into this, just go into Windows Task Manager and stop the process: s7hspsvx.exe . After that, the install works.
