Hi all,

I'm trying to install WinCC V7.4 SP1 on Windows 7 but i get an error while installing SQL Server 2014 (wincc) standard Edition that is "SQL Server 2014 (wincc) standard Edition Setup cannot the Installation" .

I tried all version of Windows 7 SP1 (32 & 64 bit , Professional and Ultimate) but it dosnot solved, also I have checked my username and it haven't  any blank.

also before this  I have installed this software (WinCC V7.4) with this source on another system with widows 7 64Bit Ultimate without any problem.

Would you help me, please

SIMATIC PCS 7 with Microsoft SQL Server on PCs with multi-core
or multiple processors?"

Futhermore you can see, if you can find a file "Summary.txt" in the
folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Setup Bootstrap\Log"

Here could you find information about errors during the installation
of the SQL-Server.

The CPU of this PC is  "intel core i7-7700k" , i don't know if this CPU dose have any relation with my problem and cause this error while installing Wincc V7.4 with SQL Server??🤔🤔

Befor this , I have checked drive C in path "C:\program files (×86)\Microsoft SQL Server" but  this folder is empty, there was not any thing.

Hello

I checked your adivce "https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/59703368/" and i study this page and check "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/954835/on-a-computer-that-has-a-multicore-processor-you-may-be-unable-to-inst" on that page and i changed "number of  processor" to 1 in "msconfig" but nothing changed, and the problem dose not solve.

Also I chenged my system windows to windows 7 ultimate 32bit  either the problem dose not solve🤔🤔🤔

But  chack below things and try 

1. Check the window version above 21H1 no use the 20H1

2. please update the microsoft edge 

3. Please update the window update
