When  downloading to a PLC device there is a problem in TIA portal. Because of the know-how protection on the WP231PR Function block, it is not possible to download any more. See the attachment.

Is there any solution for this, because I found out already, that there are more people with this problem.

Well, the problem with know-how protected function blocks is in general in TIA Portal, but not only for the Siwarex modules.

Currently it is not possible to simulate a know-how protected function block with PLCSIM in TIA Portal for S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLC.

With TIA Portal V14 it will be possible to simulate know-how protected function blocks with PLCSIM for S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLC.

Just treid it on V14 plcsim to load knowhow protected blocks. but also in V14 is this not possible.

I treid it with the ready to use program from the siwarex wp321

Only with PLC SIM advanced V14 for S71500.

Normal V14 plc sim and Adv PLC Sim v14 for S71500 cant install together. So if you want to try then you need to install seperate advanced PLC sim on other pc.

Same plc sim you can simulate, OPC UA communication, Web page, PLC to PLC communication, PLC to PLM software communication and much more.
