Dear Expert, I am trying to connect a PTC Thermistor with 6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0 module. I am following wiring diagram of the module and connect the PTC to pin M+ & M-. The Hardware Configuration is:- Measuring Type - R (Resistance) Measuring Range - PTC When I monitor the analog value from the module Monitor/Modify parameter it's showing W#16# 0000. Please help me, how can I monitor PTC value from my logic or module parameter and what type of data I can see (ex:Hex, Dec, Int) AttachmentConfiguration.docx (488 Downloads) |

Hello Din Islam, Please take a look to this manual Page 350 and 351 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/8859629 I think but i'am not sure, it's not possible to recover the analog value but the status of this input if the resistor value is in range the value of PIX is Hx0000 else if the value is out of range the value change in other value but you don't have any information about the temperature but the range... You just have 3 value in 3 case, if the temperature (resistor) value is in range you got a value and if if the resistor is out of range the value change... Try to check that, use the PTC at different temperature and check if the PIW value change, if the PTC is waterproof you can use water for exemple use 2 differents cup with chilled and hot Water. And give me a feedback Because i'am not sure about that and i'am waiting for some information Regard |

Hello CaOd Please see the attach file. In this module (6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0) no need to connect 24V DC (L+ & M). Thank you |
