Friend, you are missing the point. The secret to reaching the top of a "sport" is in the way an "athlete" practices. Reaching the top of the technical game has much to do with how well you can teach yourself. You will put a big limitation on yourself if you only wait for answers from others to educate yourself. Finding answers is a skill that needs practise. By doing the work you also stumble on unrelated information that expands your horizons even more. The search within the forum can already reveal some answers. Starting at grass level needs a little boost to be able to know how to formulate problems. I would suggest that you give the S7-1200 manual a read. Many 'basic' things are explained there. Download the PDF from https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109797241/ and start by looking at the different datatypes. The more you read, the more the puzzle will start to make sense. Stay curious. |
