Hi I am desperately trying to measure the throughput or processing time for different orders on a machine. Let us keep it easy and assume there can always be only one order per machine and vice versa. The operator sets a counter representing the order number for example with the Logo buttons and then starts the watch (digital input). It could be interesting to look at the active time of certain outputs but let us keep that for later. Now after a certain time, the operator takes a break and flips a switch to pause the stopwatch. Upon return, well you get the idea. Now with another button, the order should be declared completed and the total processing time should be recorded with the order number, reset the watch and the Logo awaits the next order number. How can I log this data without the datalog or access tool? Any ideas? The only option I can see so far is pretty clumsy: I use teslascada and with that the Logo can trigger the telegram app to send a message with each specified event. Using the timestamps, I could record at least these events and then do the math to get some idea about the duration. The counter with the order number will work for that but it is not the kind of solution I am looking for. I might just as well buy a seismograph and a lot of paper. Thanks for your ideas!
