Error in Call FC from SCL

The call looks like this in STL: CALL "SCALE_R" X :=100.0 I_LO :=0.000000e+000 I_HI :=3.500000e+003 O_LO :=0.000000e+000 O_HI :=2.100000e+004 RET_VAL:=#Spindle_Speed_Scaled NOP 0 I do like this in SCL: SCALE_R( X := 100.0 ,I_LO := 0.0 ,I_HI := 7200.0 ,O_LO := 0.0 ,O_HI := 100.0 ,RET_VAL := Spindle_Speed_Scaled ); I get this compiler error: Invalid or missing function type. What's wrong?

Hello again, This idea works perfectly for FC106 -UNSCALE function from STEP 7 standard library, TEST5:=FC106 (IN:=test1,HI_LIM:=100.0,LO_LIM:=0.0,BIPOLAR:=TEST3 ,OUT:=TEST4); Please, upload part of your S7 Program regarding to this discussion for further analysis.This is all I can share for now. For this reason, functions can be treated as addresses. Functions with a return value of the type VOID are an exception to this rule. In the following value assignment, for example, the function DISTANCE is called with specific parameters: LENGTH:= DISTANCE (X1:=–3, Y1:=2); Return value is DISTANCE! The function calculates the return value, which has the same name as the function, and returns it to the calling block. There, the value replaces the function call.
