How do I set an Axis to be permanently Geared to another axis ?

I still need to be able to change the gear ratio, but the geared axis should always move when the Master moves, IE never de-synchronise

At present every time I disable the Master, the slave is de-synchronised

Also how to overcome the error 40201 (reason 1)

I have been trying to get this Fixed Gear operating but no luck so far

Have configured a fixed gear, connected the Interconnection Motion Input to my Master axis actual value, Slave axis Synchronous Object is coupled to the fixed Gear Motion Output.

I enable the fixedgear with _enablefixedgearing

have also tried the _enablefixedgearingmotionin

I enable both axis

I run my master axis

The fixedgear object shows it is enabled, it shows Motionin values for s and v relating to master axis movement

it also shows Motionout values for s and v that are relative to the gear ratio

I have no Alarms

but my Slave axis does not move, what am I missing ?
