SIMATIC PC station configuration downloading error

Hassan Raza Posts: 102 Rating: (2)	Dear Fellows, I am experiencing another problem. Please note down my current system and its settings: 1. CPU 315-2DP (6ES7315-2AG10-0AB0) 2. CP 5611 3. MPI Communication I am trying to download my SIMATIC PC Station in PLC Cpu. But step 7 is giving errors while downloading. Please find the attached folder for my system addresses and errors screenshots. Please guide me that either i am doing something wrong in addressing or i am missing something? Please reply asap. Best regards, Wizard There is no option of PC Internal (Local) in parameter assignment. Not even in Add/ remove.

Best regards, Wizard Dear Wizard, May be there would be an error in my installation due to which PC internal is not displaying in PG/PC interface. Can you please tell me if i do as stated by you then what will i achieve? I mean to say, will i be able to control the plant through wincc scada after doing the step mentioned by you? Because i already have code in the plc cpu. and the only problem is there is no communication setting for wincc

Perhaps the following links might help: WinCC V7.3 Communication (See chapter 12) What remedies are there when you can't load the configuration of the PC station? how do you configure an S7 connection for a user application via PROFIBUS with the SIMATIC NET PC software? how do you configure an S7 connection for a user application via MPI with the SIMATIC NET PC software? Hassan Raza Posts: 102 Rating: (2)	Hello fellows, Well i changed the communication settings of CP card to PG mode and selected MPI option from the Access point in configuration console and it worked. What i was missing was i did not select MPI mode for CP card from Access point in configuration console window.
